Ultimate Collateral Protection LLC was founded by Mark Striegnitz.
Mark has been in the auto industry since 1977 and founded Mark's Auto Sales Inc in Lakewood Colorado in 1983. As the owner of a buy here pay here dealership, he understands direct needs of the independent car dealer that provides the financing.
As an owner of the finance company, and strong ties throughout the auto industry and repossession agents he continued to hear the needs to protect the collateral, and quickly safely identify repossessions while building profit for the business.
Testimonials for Ultimate Collateral Protection
"The Rocky Mountain Repossessors Association is happy to write this letter of support for the Ultimate Collateral Protection Etch ...A repossesssor can safely see the V.I.N. even when fake temporary tags have been made, license plates have been switched, the car has been repainted or when the public V.I.N. is covered or removed." -Rocky Mountain Repossessors Association, Board of Directors, April 11, 2011
"I am happy to write this letter of support [for Ultimate Collateral Protection]. This theft deterrent offers benefits to the repossession industry in several ways. This etch allows the V.I.N. to be verified even when the public V.I.N. is covered. I am the one who repoed the vehicle in the picture with no vin plate. This repo took over an hour and I needed the help of Arvada police to get it done. I was exposed to the debtor way too long. Had this vehicle had the etch I would have been in and out in only minutes.
The etch provides a contact number on the vehicle that cannot be removed which helps lower the number of vehicles that are up for repossession being impounded or stored at a tow yard. This helps you as the repossession company. The etching is large enough to make it readily visible, I have spotted several units on the freeway and was able to see the reward etch.
The system is easy to use, offers a reward and within one use can pay for itself depending upon the tow and impound fees. If a strange vehicle is sitting somewhere, possibly being hidden a person is more likely to call for a reward instead of calling the police or not reporting the location." -Michael Simpson, Gotcha Recovery Services, May 13, 2011
"I have been around the repossession industry my whole life as I have had 4 different relatives that own repossession agencies in various states. I have actively been doing Repossessions in the Denver Metro since 2003.
As a Repossession agent, each and every Repossession scenario is different from
the next. Every new order has the potential to have a frustrating and/or unsafe
outcome. Whether it is day or night; raining or bright; in a back yard or in a mall
parking lot…our job is to safely and quickly secure our clients’ collateral.
On a daily basis Repossession agents are faced with set-backs that can determine
whether the collateral is secured or not. More now than ever we are finding
VIN’s covered and finding that license plates have been illegally placed on a car or
stolen off of one car and put on another.
In this industry safety is in the back of every agent’s mind. Anything can happen
at any time. When you have to check a VIN on the front of a car you can easily
become very vulnerable with your back exposed to the environment.
After reviewing and grasping the concept of “Ultimate Collateral Protection”
I have to say that I can honestly appreciate this innovative concept. Ultimate
Collateral Protection can make the difference in several cases if you get the car
or not. With collateral information accessible 360 degrees around the collateral
there is no more guessing if you have the right car or not with a covered VIN/
bad license plates. The collateral will always be in front of you and your back
will never be exposed. A quicker and safer Repossession is always the best
Repossession! I hope it will be the industry standard of the future!" -Ryan Lendrum, All Star Retrievers
